The CF40-B Series General Purpose AC Drive is a high-performance AC variable frequency drive (VFD) designed for the efficient control of three-phase AC asynchronous motors. With a power range from 3.7KW to 22KW and compatible with 380V / 440V 3-phase power, it delivers excellent stability, adaptability, and control accuracy for a wide variety of industrial applications.

This series supports multiple advanced control modes including open loop vector control (SVC), closed loop vector control (FVC), V/F control, and V/F separation control. Built-in support for differential encoders, open collector encoders, and resolvers allows for greater flexibility and integration into complex automation systems.

Designed with user convenience and energy efficiency in mind, the CF40-B features a sensorless vector control algorithm for superior low-speed torque and stable performance under variable loads. It is well-suited for fans, pumps, packaging lines, textile machinery, paper processing, and more.

Wiring Instructions for the Electrical System

1. Power Supply Connections

Three-phase input (R, S, T):
Connect the three-phase AC power source to terminals R, S, and T via a circuit breaker and contactor for protection and control.
Output (U, V, W):
Connect these terminals to the motor to provide power.

2. Multi-Function Inputs (D1 – D10)

These digital inputs (D1 to D10) are used for various control functions.
They share a common COM terminal.
Ensure the correct logic level and voltage compatibility before wiring.

3. External Interface Connections

J7: External keyboard interface.
J3: PG card interface.
J12: Function expansion card interface.

4. Analog Output and Control

A01, A02:
Analog output terminals used for control signals (0-10V/0-20mA).
GND:
Common ground for analog signals.

5. Open Collector Inputs and Outputs

FM, COM:
Used for high-speed pulse output.
Open collector outputs:
0-24V DC, max 50mA.

6. Communication Interface (Modbus-RTU)

485+ and 485- terminals are used for RS485 communication.
Ensure correct baud rate settings (Max: 152000bps).

7. Relay Outputs (TC1, TC2)

TB1, TB2:
Used for relay control outputs.
Relay specifications:
- AC: Max 250V, 10mA to 3A
- DC: Max 30V, 10mA to 1A

8. Jumpers Settings

Jumper J1, J5, J8, J12:
Used for selecting operation modes and configuring control signals.
Ensure proper configuration according to system requirements.
